This season, Golden Eagles will rely on Hydration SmartCart during games
Watertown, SD, September 15, 2015 — Ensuring student-athletes stay safe and hydrated is a priority for Tennessee Tech Athletics. So during the Golden Eagles 2015 college football season, its athletic trainers and student-athletes will benefit from a brand new product by The Athletic Edge, one of the nation’s largest manufacturers of beautifully designed and rugged products for athletic trainers, physical therapists and other health care providers.
Tennessee Tech commissioned two custom eight-foot-long versions of The Athletic Edge’s new SmartCart, featuring hydration tub holders. The mobile and all-weather Hydration SmartCart conveniently fits two hydration tubs on top of the cart and stores two additional tubs. Lockable storage also houses medical and other supplies, providing a workstation right on the sideline. Plus with a two-inch cushioned top with lift back, the SmartCart serves as a combination taping station/evaluation table, able to treat one supine or up to two seated players at a time.Tennessee Tech’s carts also showcase its team pride through The Athletic Edge’s custom branding options, including team logo colors and fully skinned vinyl graphics. “We designed our SmartCart to be truly ‘smart,’” said Jim Engels, CEO of The Athletic Edge. “As a result, we can customize this brand-new product in multiple sizes and configurations so that high school, collegiate, and professional athletic teams can house the specific supplies they need right on the sidelines.
